we at koe want to destroy fast fashion whilst also helping tackle two of the biggest challenges we face in the world today - water and wellbeing. in order to truly support those challenges, for every order placed we give £5 to wateraid and £5 to mental health charity, mind.
why water & well-being?
water | over 770 million people globally don’t have access to clean water close to home.
well-being | nearly 800 million people worldwide suffer from a mental health disorder, representing 1 in 10 people globally.
vision | with the production of fast fashion being one of the biggest polluters of water, and mental health disorders being one of the biggest challenges faced by humans today, we are on a mission to provide fashion that is more sustainable, more eco-friendly and gives back to the planet and people.
positively imagined | our name comes from our youth where graphics, graffiti and galavanting gave us the first version of our koe design. our visual ideas come from a place of self expression, creativity and rebellion, but above all kindness to oneself and others
sustainably designed | we have partnered with sustainable textile suppliers, using 100% organic fair trade cotton. our partners methods use just 0.01% of the amount of water used in fast fashion cutting water consumption per t-shirt by 2,660 litres. in addition, our designs are printed using water based inks, 100% certified by OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT and by the very serious GOTS 5.0 label. all garments are certified vegan.
koe x water aid - for every order we receive we will donate £5 to our friends at water aid, which can give 2 people access to life saving clean water for a whole year
koe x mind charity - for every order we receive we will donate £5 to our friends at mind, which ensures that their volunteers can be there on the end of the phone, in local communities and working hard for better services and support for those who are struggling
